Scott Free lives in Sedona, Arizona, with his wife, Chrysona Laura S. Phillips, a distinguished architectural designer, and her daughter, Rebecca. Scott received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Detroit and his Masters in Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University. He has lectured and taught at Golden Gate University, San Francisco State University, JFK University, and Detroit Business Institute.
Scott has been involved in raising over $400 million in investment capital for high technology corporations. He has negotiated contracts and joint ventures for established corporations in Japan, Hong Kong, China, U.K., France, Germany, Indonesia, the Netherlands and Scandinavia. He has been an officer or consultant to General Electric, Ford Motor Co., Xerox, Department of Defense, British Motor Cars, Commodore Business Machines, Fortune Systems, and Universal Semiconductor.
Scott has appeared on television and has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal. He has been listed in Distinguished Americans, Who's Who in Finance and Business, Who's Who in America, as well as other distinguished directories.
