In this groundbreaking book, international authors and lecturers Lee Carroll and Jan Tober answer many of the often-puzzling questions surrounding Indigo children, such as:

  • Can we really be seeing human evolution in kids today?
  • Are these kids smarter than we were at their age?
  • Why do a lot of our children today seem to be "system busters"?
  • Why are so many of our brightest kids being diagnosed with attention deficit disorder (ADD)?
  • Are there proven working alternatives to Ritalin?

Throughout this work, Carroll and Tober bring together some very fine minds (doctors, educators, psychologists, and more) who shed light on the Indigo child phenomenon. These children are truly special, representing a great percentage of all the kids born today on a worldwide basis. They come in "knowing" who they are, so they must be recognized, celebrated for their exceptional qualities, and guided with love and care. This book is a must for the parents of unusually bright and active children!

Who is an Indigo child?

The Indigo child is a boy or girl who displays a new and unusual set of psychological attributes, revealing a pattern of behavior generally undocumented before. This pattern has singularly unique factors that call for parents and teachers to change their treatment and upbringing of these kids to assist them in achieving balance and harmony in their lives, and to help them avoid frustration.

Very rewarding

5

I had an opportunity to read this book and found it very rewarding. I, myself, have always felt I didn't fit in and some how felt my internal wiring was different than the most. Now I am an adult and this book actually had me experiencing the "aha!" moment where self awareness was discovered. The book makes reference to children in the '80's being Indigo children but I am here to say that some children date as far back as the '70's.

This book has lots of information in the areas of characteristics as well as handling of an Indigo Child, that would be helpful for anyone who is in the company of an Indigo. I would highly recommend this book on the basis of the many options that it provides to a person that is willing to try something that will work.

In my profession, in the library, I have had people asking about schools mentioned in this book and have used it to answer some question people ask us. It is very informative and thorough in its presentation. You can skip areas that may not relate to your situation for an overview of opinions or read through it all to get a more informed understanding of the global changes happening in the population. Well written and well read. Thanks to the authors for clearing up the internal wiring, I now know that there people out there that are wired the same way.
